I had a dream last night where you whispered to me that we could toboggan across the lake to Michigan, and it would only take two hours once we got up to speed because it takes 30 minutes by plane and that’s four times faster than a sled. We hopped on and, even though the lake was flat, we kept going and going and going. You told me that there would be tulips in Michigan, and that it would be spring by the time we got there. Then you leapt into a snowdrift because you wanted to make snow angels while you still could. By the time we got to land, it wasn’t Michigan, and you weren’t you and my hands were covered in fur.
[This is from the first pack of Polaroid Blue film I’ve shot. It is perhaps the most magical film ever. I’m on to my second pack now. Soon, this film stock will be entirely gone and I will cry.]
